SPICY AYAM BEER

INGREDIENTS

◻︎Chicken
◻︎Onion 1x
◻︎Red Chillies 4x
◻︎Sambal oelek 2 tbsp.
◻︎Garlic 8 cloves
◻︎Cashew nuts 100 gr.
◻︎Beer 0,33 cl.
◻︎Sunflower oil 1 cup
◻︎Black Pepper 
◻︎Sea salt
◻︎Brown Sugar 4 tbsp.
◻︎Djahé 1 tbsp.
◻︎Sereh 1 tbsp.
◻︎Turmeric (fresh) 2x
◻︎Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
◻︎Ketjap manis 2 tbsp.

TOOLS

◻︎Wajang + lid
◻︎Cutting knife
◻︎Cutting board
◻︎Pincer or fork
◻︎Tablespoon
◻︎Nice big plate (chicken)

MISE en PLACE

1. Cut: ◻︎Garlic ◻︎Onion ◻︎Turmeric ◻︎Red Chillies.
2. Rub chicken with salt and pepeer on both sides. 
3. Add in the back of the chicken 4 cloves garlic. Set the chicken aside.
4. Place everything orderly on the countertop.

BUMBU
1. Put the wajang at medium-high heat.
2. Add (1/2 cup) Sunflower oil and bring to temperature.
3. Add Chicken into the pan.
4. Fry it on both sides each 10 minuten.

5. Remove chicken out of the pan. Set the chicken aside.
6. Leave the pan on LOW heat. Leave Oil and garlic (chicken) in the pan.
7. Add Onion and Garlic. Quietly yarn.
8. Add red Chillies. Quietly yarn.
9. Add Sambal Oelek. Quietly yarn.
10. Add Turmeric
. Stirr gently. Simmer for 10 minutes.
11. Add Lemon juice, 
Djahé and Sereh. Stirr gently. Quietly yarn.
12. Add Brown Sugar ( 2 tbsp.). Quietly yarn.
13. Add Cashew nuts. Stirr gently. Simmer for 10 minutes. 
14. Add rest of the oil to the sides. Quietly yarn.

DISH
1. Place chicken (on belly side) on the bumbu. Simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Add Beer on the sides. Simmer chicken for 15 minutes.
3. Put lid on the pan. Simmer chicken for 20 minutes.
3. Remove lid from the pan. Add brown Sugar (2 tbsp.) at sides in pan.
4. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Turn chicken over (on back side).
6. Sprinkle over the chicken the bumbu.
7. Put the lid on the pan. Simmer for 10 minutes.
8. Remove lid from the pan. Turn the chicken (on belly side). 
9. Drizzle bumbu over the chicken.
10. Add Ketjap over the chicken. Drizzle bumbu over the chicken.
11. Bumbu simmer until sauce thickens.
AYAM ready. Put chicken into the sauce on a nice big plate. Selamat makan!
