SPICY BAMI

INGREDIËNTEN (2 personen)

◻︎Bacon strips 2x 
◻︎Noodles 125 grams  
◻︎Onion 1x  
◻︎Carrots 2x
◻︎Chinese cabbage ½  
◻︎Garlic 2 cloves
◻︎Red Lombok 2x  
◻︎Sambal Oelek 1 tbsp.
◻︎Sunflower oil 5 tbsp.  
◻︎Fish sauce 1 tbsp.  
◻︎Black Pepper  1 tsp.
◻︎Brown Sugar 1 tbsp.  
◻︎Sea salt ½ tbsp.  
◻︎Djahé 1 tbsp.  
◻︎Laos ½ tsp.
◻︎Sereh ½ tbsp.  
◻︎Yellow Curry ½ tbsp.  
◻︎Turmeric ½ tbsp.  
◻︎Nutmeg ½ tsp.
◻︎Djeruk purut 3 leaves
◻︎Daun salam 3 
leaves

◻︎Ladle

MISE en PLACE

    1. Peel the garlic. Cut the garlic cloves into coarse pieces.
    2a. Dice the meat and place in a bowl.
    2b. Then add to the meat: ◻︎Garlic ◻︎Sunfloweroil 2 tbsp. ◻︎Brown Sugar. ◻︎Black Pepper ◻︎Seesalt ◻︎Laos ◻︎Djahé ◻︎Sereh ◻︎Curry ◻︎Kurkuma ◻︎Fischsauce
    3. Stir this all together with a spoon. Spoon out, leaving the meat.
    4. Peel the onion and cut into pieces.
    5. Clean the carrots. Cut them into small cubes.
    6. Coarsely chop the Chinese cabbage.
    7. Remove the stalk from the lomboks. Cut the lomboks into coarse pieces.
    8. Noodles.
    a. Use 2 pieces of noodles (from the packet) to add.
    b. Follow the instruction on the packet.
    9. Place everything neatly on the counter.

    DISH

    1. Put the wajang on low heat.
    2. Add 3 tbsp. sunflower oil and bring to temperature.
    3. Add the onion, lomboks (whole), Daun Salam and Djeruk Purut.
    4. The onions glaze over. Then add the spiced meat. And the sambal.
    5. Stir it all together gently.
    6. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir gently every now and then.
    7. Add the carrots. Stir everything gently.
    8. Let this simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
    9. Add the Chinese cabbage. Then add the nutmeg. Stir everything together.
    10. Shred the cabbage. Add the noodles. Stir everything well.
    After about 5 minutes, the BAMI is ready. Selamat makan!
