'MIXED CURRY'

CURRYs come in many varieties and flavours: red curry, green curry,

INGREDIËNTS (2 persons)

  • Potato large 4x
  • Winter carrot 1x
  • Cauliflower 1/2
  • Mushrooms 250 grams 
  • Onions 2x
  • Garlic 2 tntjs.
  • Vegetable broth 1x
  • Ketoembar 1 Tsp.
  • Laos 2 Tsp.
  • Djahé 2 Tsp.
  • Chili Powder 2 Tsp.
  • Surinamese curry 2 Tbsp.
  • Coconut cream 160 ml
  • Sunflower Oil 4 Tbsp.
  • Basmati rice 100 grams

THE RICE
If you don't have an electric rice pan, follow the instructions on the packaging.
◻︎Kook the rice first so it can dry properly.
◻︎De washed rice in the pan under a fingertip (index finger) of water.
◻︎Deksel on the pan, button on and the rest will do itself.
◻︎De rice ready. Using a rice spoon, spatula the rice loose from the side.
◻︎Zet the lid back on the rice pan.

1. Wash, peel and dice the potatoes.
2. Clean the carrot, cut into fine pieces.
3. Clean the cauliflower, cut into chunks.
4. Skin the mushrooms clean and slice them.
5. Finely slice the garlic. 
6. Heat the pan and add sunflower oil.
7. Add the potatoes and stock cube to the pan. Scoop until 1 whole.
    Let it simmer for about 15 minutes on low heat. 
    Stirring occasionally.
8. Add the onions, pieces of carrot and herbs. Stir until combined.
    Leave to simmer for approx. 10 minutes.
9. Add mushrooms and cauliflower a little water to the pan.
     Gently stir in. Let simmer, stirring in between.
10. After 10 minutes add the coconut cream.
11. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
Dinner is ready. Enjoy your meal! 

TIP: Have you any food left over from the dish. Keep it cooled in a sealable container in the fridge or in the freezer for a moment.
