INGREDIëNTS
◻Basmati rice 300 grams
◻Tempeh 400 grams
◻Red Lomboks 5 pcs.
◻Large onions 2 pcs.
◻︎Garlic 3 tntjs.
◻︎Verse Laos approx. 10 cm
◻Tomatoes 3 pcs.
◻︎Tamarind assem 1 tsp.
◻︎Brown sugar 2 tbsp.
◻︎Crystalline sugar 2 tbsp.
◻Sea salt 1 tbsp.
◻Sunflower oil 2 tbsp.

TOOLS
◻︎Wajang
◻Rice pan
◻Ladle
◻︎Pilting knife
◻︎Cutting knife
◻Cutting board
◻︎Closeable containers

The Rice
If you don't have an electric rice cooker, follow the instructions on the packaging.
◻︎Cook the rice first so it can dry properly.
◻︎Place the washed rice in the pan under a fingertip (index finger) of water.
◻︎Lid the pan, turn on the knob and the rest is done by itself.
◻︎The rice is ready. Using a rice spoon, spatulate the rice loose from the side.
◻︎Place the lid back on the rice pan.

Cutting
◻︎Cut the block of tempeh in half crosswise, then cut into thin slices.
◻︎cut these slices into small strips◻︎cut the red lomboks into thin strips.
◻Chop the onions, garlic and tomatoes.

The preparation
◻︎Put the wajang on medium heat. ◻︎Pan hot enough, add the oil.
Then add:
◻︎ onions ◻︎ garlic ◻︎ red lombok ◻︎ tamarind assem◻︎laos ◻︎sugar ◻︎salt.
◻︎Gently stir together so that the ingredients are well combined.
◻After 10 minutes add the tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes.
◻Increase the heat and add the sliced tofu to the pan.
◻Stir gently until everything is mixed together, about 5 minutes.
◻Turn down the heat and simmer for another 15 minutes.
The dish ready. Add the rice. Enjoy your happy meal!
